NL Jodie De Verney is een beeldend kunstenaar en ambachtsvrouw gevestigd in Antwerpen. Haar artistieke praktijk beweegt zich tussen object, installatie en rituele handelingen. Ze onderzoekt het alledaagse via afgedankte voorwerpen en het nalatenschap, deze functioneren als getuigen van gebruik en verlies met een mogelijk herstel naar het verleden. Het archief wordt toegepast als methode om persoonlijke en collectieve herinneringen te vertalen naar een uitgesproken synthese van cultureel erfgoed.

In 2025 behaalde ze een Master of Fine Arts in Crafts aan de Konstfack University Stockholm, als opvolging van haar opleiding aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen. De Verney nam in samenwerking met Studio Magazine Canada in 2025 deel aan een schrijfresidentie bij Galerie BeCraft Mons en is sinds 2026 resident binnen het collectief The Linen Stewards van Texture Museum in Kortrijk.

She explores the everyday through abandoned objects and inherited items, which function as witnesses to the use and loss of things, offering a potential reconnection with the past. The archive is used as a method to translate personal and collective memories into a synthesis of cultural heritage.

In 2025, she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Crafts from Konstfack University of the Arts in Stockholm, after completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In 2025, De Verney took part in a writing residency at Galerie BeCraft Mons in collaboration with Studio Magazine Canada, and has been a resident of the collective The Linen Stewards at Texture Museum in Kortrijk since 2026.
